SISTERSMITH – MARKING COP26
Working with companies who are striving to reduce waste and help get the world to Net Zero, we were thrilled to be able to help Powerhouse Energy mark COP26 up in Glasgow. Highlighting their plastic-to-hydrogen technology, the event brought together stakeholders to discuss how this technology can help reduce plastic entering our rivers and oceans. We were delighted to hear from Jo Ruxton, Founder of Ocean Generation and producer of the monumental film, A Plastic Ocean, who talked about her mission to help reduce plastic in our oceans.
Jo’s presentation identified the importance of plastic and the need for technologies such as Powerhouse’s to be embraced to help reduce plastic in our environment.
The roundtable discussion saw contributions from Marine Scotland, Vice Chancellor, Professor Eunice Simmons, University of Chester, Zero Waste Scotland, Lord Oates- Vice Chair APPG on Hydrogen and many more.
